Photoshoot

Megan is such a great photographer. She dressed Ben up and took him out for a photo shoot on Stanford Campus. Here's some of my favorites!

Ben's First Birthday!

Happy Birthday Ben!

He started the day with his favorite: canned peaches!

And then we opened presents...

He loved the cookie monster card!

We sang Happy Birthday with a cake a neighbor friend made for him.

He didn't really dig in...

Unfortunately, he was still getting over the flu on his birthday...so we postponed his party until the following week: Tuesday, March 13

This time he enjoyed his birthday cookie!

First steps!

Jan 8 Ben took his first steps :) Since that time he has become more daring and less wobbly. He is now taking a few steps here and there all throughout the day!

Every Wednesday I babysit a girl in our ward, Kaia Reeder. She's about 7 months older than Ben.

Although you'd never be able to tell by the size of their heads!!

Ben jibber-jabbers to me all day long! Or to his toys, or to the kids out the window...

A Hawaiian Christmas

We were fortunate to spend Christmas this year in Hawaii with my family. What a great time we had!!

It was also Ben's first Christmas! He wasn't so sure what about the whole unwrapping deal though...

This is the life! Bottle-fed and livin' in paradise!

Drinking fresh coconut milk ...(I mean odd-tasting water)

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner and show at the PCC.

We visited Pearl Harbor and saw the USS Arizona resting beneath the surface.

Ben learned how to fly...

And we tried ;)

Saw Brutus and his friend sunbathing at Turtle Beach.

We hiked up beautiful Waimea Valley and swam in the waterfall!

Ben and Mark read about all the Island Fowl we saw there.

And the weather was perfect!

It truly was a Christmas in Paradise!

I love to see the temple...especially with Christmas lights!!!
